1. Parla’s Washakie with Distinction to Macchiato. Clearly marked b/s to the point that he even has a spot or two on his tail. Of lovely proportions and balance. Beautiful masculine head with lovely expression. Super for make and shape, so good to handle with all the parts fitting smoothly and firmly into the whole, in the best of coat and hard muscular condition with well rounded hindquarters, good bone, strongly built with well laid shoulder and good turn of stifle: excellent topline, tailset and carriage. Full of himself and his own importance, really coming into his own on the move being smooth free sound and positive, covering ground with his powerful, reachy stride. Looked as if he could go all day with no trouble at all. Beautifully presented. A worthy son of Ch. Lionel who I put up as BOB first time out as a young puppy in a large entry. BD. When he came into the big ring to challenge the BB he looked far from his former happy self, was not standing right and on the move his tail carriage was decidedly odd. In fact it transpired that the poor boy was in pain from a small accident in the car, between the judging of BD & BIS, injuring his tail so badly that it actually bled. Even so, his make, shape and movement carried him through to RBIS. with the agreement of my co-judge.
